All Licious Organics’ Raw Cookies packaging uses NatureFlex™, a non-GMO, 100% compostable alternative to plastic.
The raw material for NatureFlex™ is renewable wood-pulp, sourced exclusively from plantations operating under sustainable forestry principles.
We researched alternative packaging for two years before concluding that NatureFlex™ has the best combination of function, form and sustainable attributes for our high quality organic products. Our labels are also compostable and are printed using soy inks and made from cellulose.
Licious Organics is excited to be paving the way and continuing to support ongoing efforts to develop alternatives to conventional packaging especially where our foods are concerned. We fully acknowledge that sustainability is a difficult term to define and substantiate. We have recently become aware of a third party entity that is currently investigating the “sustainability” aspects of all of our packaging.
As an additional effort in support of our commitment to the environment, we have partnered with a private investment fund BaumInvest to plant three thousand trees in a reforestation effort.
